2012
Summer Camp Registration:
Fill out the form below (and pre-pay in full) and we will make your reservations for summer camp. NOTE: The boys who will be Webelos 2 in 2012-13 will be making their own arrangements, since they attend a different camp.
We can still make reservations after Jan. 16, but your best chance to get the dates you want is to sign up as soon as you know your summer schedule. (We will submit our first round of reservations that week for those who have filled out the form below and paid.)
There are two kinds of camping opportunities available - day camps (for 2012-13 Tigers only-a.k.a. boys in Kindergarten this year) and weekend camps (for all levels) that begin Friday night and end on Sunday afternoon (referred to as "Resident Camp" because you will sleep there overnight). NOTE: A non-denominational Christian service is offered in camp on Sunday morning.
-
The cost for Resident Camp is $98 per person. If Webelos 1's choose to stay for the extra day (Outpost on Sunday night, leaving camp on Monday), then there is an additional charge of $35 per person. Price includes meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. (plus extra meals for Outpost)
-
The cost for the Tiger Day Camp is $30 per youth and $10 for their accompanying adult. (includes lunch)
To offer families a choice of location, we are arranging groups from our pack to attend at two locations this year:
- Camp Akela
is held at Phillippo Scout Reservation, located on the
south shore of the Byllesby Reservoir, three miles west of
Cannon Falls. Click here to learn more about this location.
- Kiwanis Scout Camp is 110 acres nestled on the banks of the St. Croix. Click here to learn more about this location.
Please note: camp deposit fees ($25 per person, plus $10/person for outpost) are NON-REFUNDABLE, as is the entire fee after April 2, 2012. (This is the policy of the camp - not ours.) However, if you find out later that you cannot attend, please contact our Council Camping Coordinator, and we may be able to find another pack family who will want to take over your reservation, or the council may be able to move your reservation to an alternate date.
