Upcoming Pack Events:

Saturday, Sept. 11^th: Osseo Lions Roar Parade starts at Noon—we’re marching in the parade and are hoping for a big showing from our scouts. Be sure to bring a bucket for your scout--we'll be handing out candy! And don't forget to pack a snack & a drink -- it can be a long parade!
Check back later for our meeting place (most years we meet near Sipe Park in Osseo). Scouts should wear their Class A Uniform for the parade. We need everyone there by 11:45 am. Parade starts at 12:00. FYI--There's a shuttle that runs from the high school (end of the parade) to the start point. (If driving, the parade organizers suggest entering the parade line-up area at Cty. Rd. 81 & 4th St. SE, since the main roads may be blocked off.) If coming from the north, you could park in the Osseo Elementary School parking lot and walk (a little less than a half-mile) to the meeting point.

Monday, Sept 20th at 6:30 pm: JOIN CUB SCOUTS NIGHT! Cub Scout Pack 334 runs a year-round family program designed for boys who will be entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade this school year. We invite you and your son to attend our Join Scouts Night on Monday, Sept 20th at 6:30 pm in the Nursery at St. Vincent de Paul Church near downtown Osseo. Click here for a map - enter the main church doors and the Nursery is the first room on your right. At this meeting, you’ll have the chance to meet our Pack Leaders and learn more about us. These are great trainings for any Scout Parent to take online at: www.myscouting.org. You will need to sign up as a member, but you will not need your Member ID to take these training courses:

This is Scouting (a terrific introduction to the entire Boy Scout program)
Youth Protection Training (a course that talks about how to keep our scouts safe as they participate in scouting activities)

It's not too late to sign up for Fall Festival Day Camp:

Groups from our Pack are going on either Saturday, Oct. 9 at Kiwanis Scout Camp (about an hour drive) or Saturday, Oct. 23 at the new Base Camp near Fort Snelling (about a 45 min drive). Click here to read more about Fall Festival - the day includes fall activities such as outdoor games, hay rides, caramel apples, etc. It also includes BB guns & archery for the Scouts (always a hit with the boys). Those who have attended in the past say that it is a ton of fun and a beautiful time of year to enjoy the outdoors.

If you want to sign up, contact our Committee Chair Nikelle. (Note: you must pre-pay, or you may use funds from your scout account if you have enough.) The cost is $29 for scouts and for siblings 6 and up. (Siblings under 6 may attend for free.) Adults who attend cost $9 each. Siblings that are at least Tiger Cub age (going into 1st grade) can participate alongside their Cub Scout sibling. Siblings younger than this can register to participate in the Sibling Camp geared for youth ages 2 and up. The sibling camp will be divided up based on age to participate in appropriate activities for that age group so that parents can participate with their Cub Scout in the program.

Older scouts may attend in small groups with one adult to supervise (the group must include the adult’s son). If you want your son to attend with someone else – it’s up to you to make the arrangements. Tiger Cubs must each have an adult partner.
